Message from the Chief Executive

The Chief Executive is the most senior employee in the Council and is the Head of Paid Service, Principal Policy Advisor and Change Agent.

Their role is to ensure the effective strategic and operational management of the Council; ensuring it delivers excellent services, and that the Council meets the aims, objectives and targets set out in the Council Plan.

The Chief Executive is an ambassador for the Council and the City.
