Senior Management and Leadership

Our Senior Managers are integral to realising our ambitions and are responsible for formulating and recommending strategies and plans to the Strategic Executive Board, Cabinet and Council. The council’s Senior Leadership Team lead in translating strategy from the Cabinet Member and Strategic Executive Board, into high quality and cost-effective service delivery. Contributing to corporate programmes and priorities as part of the wider leadership team.
Administrative and Clerical
Help keep the council running smoothly and efficiently in administrative roles within our Business Support hubs and Executive Support teams.

Assets and Estates

Business Support Departments (HR, Finance, Legal, Marketing)
Enhance our business delivery in services such as Human Resources, Finance, Legal Services, Procurement, Communications and IT. Roles range from technical roles, support assistants, advisors, practitioners to management roles.
Catering, Caretaking and Cleaning
Be part of our service and help support and deliver the council’s food and beverage services to schools and our Civic Centre. Or be part of the caretaking and cleaning teams who make sure schools and offices are well maintained.
Community, Public Services and Enforcement

Early Career Teachers
Join our schools as an Early Career Teacher with a dedicated programme of support and development.
Early Years
Help to support the learning, development, welfare and care of our children from birth to 5 years old.
Education Support
Work with children and young adults in roles such as before and after school assistants, lunchtime supervisors and welfare assistants.

Be part of our education teams, such as our Wolverhampton Music Service, School Improvement and Early Years, Inclusion and Empowerment, and School Business and Support Services.
