As a care leaver, I faced difficulties in navigating job searches and application processes. However, when I was contacted by the Education, Employment and Training team at the City of Wolverhampton Council about Apprenticeships, I promptly applied with their assistance.

I was guided and supported throughout the entire process and even accompanied to the interview.

My time as an apprentice at the Council has been a remarkable experience. Being my first proper job, it has provided me with invaluable knowledge and skills that will benefit me in securing future roles. I have been fortunate to work alongside supportive and amiable colleagues, and I would highly recommend an apprenticeship, particularly within the Council.
